Retrofitting and Modernization

Retrofitting e Modernização

Retrofitting refers to the modernization of existing machinery or equipment. Older machines typically perform worse than newer ones in terms of productivity and operational consumables.

Existing electrical equipment, such as automation and drive technology, no longer meets the required safety standards and is state-of-the-art. On the other hand, the machine's proven mechanics are still in good condition.

In many cases, modernizing a machine is more cost-effective than purchasing a new one. To avoid high investment in replacement parts and production losses, MCK Press Automation offers retrofits of existing machines to the latest technology.

You decide the extent of the retrofit. Based on your needs, we develop a concept tailored to your machine. To achieve this, our experts consider all of your machine's components:

  • mechanics

  • controls

  • drives, motors

  • measurement systems

  • distribution cabinet
